This is the first page of a Billy The Cat sample I put together as a submission to the Beano Ed.

I used an old 70's Billy adventure as the basis of the strip and brought it up to date.

No it was a sample piece I sent to the Beano when looking for work.
I was offered General Jumbo to work on as the result.

My first Jumbo strip appears in the 2011 Beano Annual on sale now.

your general jumbo comic was awesome. not really a big fan of the new size of the beano annual and the dandy annual though.
